designing and building for the future

Our Concepts

Welcome to the 21st century and a world of time saving gadgets and 24-hour convenience. Paradoxically, however, leisure time has become increasingly scarce and therefore extremely precious…

Homes have become workplaces….

"For those seeking greater flexibility in their work pattern, the technological revolution may be the answer. More affordable computers and improved broadband access mean people can get on the internet virtually instantaneously, so we are seeing a corresponding demand from purchasers for a dedicated work space within their homes

People are spending at least some of their working week at home rather than in the office. Key factors driving this trend stem from improved flexible working options, faster technology and a growing desire to address work/life balance. The latter is especially true amongst parent's requests for more flexible hours for many reasons "As the home computer becomes an increasingly common facet of family life, so has the importance of providing an appropriate work space… The rest of the 'family' home is separate.
" Designating a dedicated work 'zone' away from the rest of the home provides the psychological distinction needed for people to unwind properly and draw the line between work and home. Dennehy Homes promote the concept of open-plan living as these spaces offer families all the room they need to relax together.

Environmental Policy

We believe we have a responsibility to protect and care for the environment - and we take our responsibilities seriously.

We comply with all legislation, regulations and standards, taking time to identify the environmental implications of our processes and establishing methods of measuring them.
We make recyclable material choices where practical and possible in our homes and ensure we preserve as much of the existing flora and fauna as possible. However, where clearing is inevitable, we encourage the re planting of indigenous mature trees and shrubs.

We work closely with councils and the local community to identify sustainable solutions and seek wherever possible to conserve them as an integral part of our development.

Looking ahead, we are constantly refining our environmental policy to work towards greater harmony with the environment and a brighter future for us all.
