Ceduna stands
alone as an architectural reflection of the unpretentious coastal lifestyle
for which it was designed. It’s characterised by functional spaces,
a combination of Japanese influence and traditional architecture. Ceduna
is largely open plan but importantly allows for the creation of dual variety
of space. The rectangular clerestory boldly dominates both the interior
and exterior of this home, ensuring the infiltration of maximum internal
light to the major open area. Generous roof overhang maintains critical
sun control.
A wall of north facing windows and use of sliding doors draws the outer
paved entertaining courtyard area seamlessly into the expansive living,
dining and kitchen spaces. A home for a simplistic style of living. |
